This one was ALL Panthers from start to finish! The Women's Basketball team defeated OH Dominican 63-38 at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The panther's improve to 17-5 for the season, 13-2 in conference play. Forty years ago, January 21st 1983, Kentucky Wesleyan College's WKWC 90.3 signed on for the first time at 7 p.m. (CST). We celebrate the legacy of WKWC, Gary Drum and the college's dream of providing "Community Radio" to the city of Owensboro on the Campus. Listen to Gary sign the station on with a plethora of guests and community leaders from around Owensboro, including then President of the college, Dr. Luther White. The radio station still broadcasts proudly on the campus and is proud to say we're still owned and operated by its original owner!! We think Gary and everyone involved to bring WKWC to life would be proud.

In this episode, Tom is joined with KWC Co-Head Women's Basketball Coaches, Nicole and Caleb Nieman. The Niemans have set an amazing standard of excellence, both on and off the court! The are the only active NCAA DII women's basketball coaches to secure 12 consecutive winning seasons with the same institution!

A strong second half gave the Lady Panthers the advantage they needed to defeat Northwood 71-41! The women's team improve 14-4 for the season, 10-1 in conference play! Enjoy the exciting game play-by-play with Andrew Bolin and Mike Sprague.
